Dr. Reet Poudel is a distinguished Psychiatrist and Sexologist from Nepal. He completed his MBBS from Kathmandu University, followed by an MD in Psychiatry from Tribhuvan University. To further specialize in sexual health, he pursued a one-year Fellowship in Psycho-Sexual Medicine from India.

Dr. Poudel has made significant contributions to the scientific community, particularly in mental health and sexual medicine. He has authored numerous research articles and book chapters, enriching the academic discourse in these areas. His dedication to advancing sexual health awareness and treatment has positioned him as a leading expert in Nepal.

He is an active member of prestigious organizations such as the Psychiatrists’ Association of Nepal (PAN), the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), and the Nepalese Association of Social Psychiatry (NASP). Additionally, he plays a vital role in academic publishing as an editor for the Journal of Psychiatrists’ Association of Nepal (JPAN), ensuring high-quality research dissemination.

In recognition of his academic excellence and clinical expertise, Dr. Poudel has achieved the rank of Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Kathmandu University.
Dr. Poudel is based in Kathmandu, where he works as a consultant in Psychiatry and Sexual Medicine. His practice focuses on addressing a wide range of psychiatric and sexual health issues, providing expert guidance and treatment to individuals and couples seeking professional support.
